CASA Volunteer Hours

Only  volunteer hours attributed to a CASA advocate's case need to be reported.  These hours include all time spent working on the case including: case assignment, reading, interviewing, phone calls, visits, meetings, thinking about the case, writing reports, attendance at court hearings and waiting time, conferring with your mentor or case manager, travel time to and from visits, court, and meetings and file organization.  Actual mileage need not be submitted.

*All inservice training credits will be recorded by CASA staff at each event, so please be sure to sign in.  If you would like to obtain credit for reading a book, viewing a tape, T.V. special or attendance at a seminar outside of CASA, please contact Deb McQuaid or your case manager to obtain approval for credit.
